Split Second (An FBI Thriller) [Hardcover]

I've finished "Split Second" the15th book in her FBI series by Catherine Coulter.

Product Description

The number-one New York Times-bestselling author returns with another pulse-pounding thriller.

A serial killer is on the loose, and it's up to FBI agents Dillon Savich and Lacey Sherlock to bring him down. They soon discover that the killer has blood ties to the infamous and now long-dead monster Ted Bundy. Savich and Sherlock are joined by agents Lucy Carlyle and Cooper McKnight, and the chase is on.

At the same time, Agent Carlyle learns from her dying father that her grandfather didn't simply walk away from his family twenty-two years ago: he was, in fact, murdered by his wife, Lucy's grandmother. Determined to find the truth, Lucy moves into her grandmother's Chevy Chase mansion. What she finds, however, is a nightmare. Not only does she discover the truth of what happened all those years ago, but she faces a new mystery as well, a strange ring that holds powers beyond her ken.

As the hunt for the serial killer escalates, Savich realizes he's become the killer's focus, and perhaps the next victim. It's up to Lucy to stop this madness before it's too late.

My Review:

Storyline:  The book opens up with FBI agent Savich on his way home and stops to buy a few things at the Shop N Go market in his neighborhood. But he stumbles on a 'robbery' that is going horribly wrong and Savich steps in and in a Split Second people's lives are changed. Some are wounded, some are killed and some are emotionally traumatized. The tragedy reaches out to others beyond those first involved.  Then the same victim is shoot and Savich is sure it's not a random target.  He believes something deeper is going on.

Characters:  Savich and Sherlock are married and have a son named Sean and a dog named .  Savich is the team leader and has a specialized laptop which helps solve their cases.

Sherlock has red hair that everyone seems to love and she is quite capable of taking care of herself.  She can be quite stubborn at times too and doesn't let Savich push her around.

Lucy is very dependent and strong character and she doesn't like Coop at first because she thinks he is a womanizer and the rumors she has heard about him.  As they get to know each other better she realizes she is wrong about him.

Coop has a reputation of being a womanizer but really he isn't!  I love his car and he's a really great guy.

Romance:  I really enjoyed the romance between Lucy and Coop because Lucy dislikes him on sight because of his reputation but as she gets to know him she realizes he's a great guy and the one for her.

Killer:  The serial killer named "Todd" has a connection to the "Ted Bundy", yes that "Ted Bundy".  They believe they should continue the rampage and they idolize Bundy.

Justice [Hardcover]

I've finished "Justice" the sequel to "Pursuit" by Karen Robards.

Product Description

New York Times bestselling author Karen Robards is back with an exhilarating romantic thriller that will leave readers breathless.

Feisty criminal attorney Jessica Ford has done her best to comply with the orders of the Secret Service’s unofficial witness protection program ever since she became the lone witness to the First Lady’s murder. She changed her name, dyed her dark hair blonde, and traded her sturdy black-rimmed glasses for contact lenses. Unfortunately, winning her first high-profile case for prestigious Washington, D.C., law firm Ellis Hayes, and subsequently landing her face all over the news, is not exactly “keeping a low profile.” Or so says hunky Secret Service agent Mark Ryan, whose newest assignment — despite Jess’s stubborn protests — is keeping her safe at all costs. It just so happens he’s also her ex-boyfriend.

The trial earns Jess a permanent spot on the firm’s elite legal defense team, replacing an associate who eloped suddenly and never came back. It’s the chance of a lifetime. But Jess’s mind has raced with questions from the moment the prosecution’s star witness shocked the courtroom with an electrifying revelation involving the handsome son of a powerful U.S. senator. Was the pretty, young mother intimidated into changing her story on the stand? Why will she not return Jess’s calls? Did Jess’s ambitious predecessor on the case really just abandon her successful career? Or did both women mysteriously disappear?

After Mark rescues Jess from an attacker outside her apartment, she begins to consider the possibility that she is a target. Maybe it’s not so bad to have her irresistibly charming and hard-bodied former lover around for protection. Maybe. The question is, which of the many inadvertent enemies Jess has made recently is he protecting her from? The investigation leads her to some startling coincidences — and to a teenage runaway who may just hold the missing link . . . if Jess can find her.

As Jess hurtles closer to the truth — and the sexual tension between her and Mark grows hotter than ever — she finds herself in a race against the clock to find the answers before what she doesn’t know gets them both killed.

My Review:

I highly recommend reading "Pursuit" first before this one so you know the history between Jess and Mark. Also this book is a very gripping, suspenseful and intriguing read with a happy ending with a twist I didn't see coming from a mile away!
Storyline:  The book opens up with a young women dying and two young runaways as the only witnesses.  Then it moves to a rape trial with unexpected results.  Jessica is puzzled and trying to figure out why the star witness recanted her story while on the stand.

Criminal attorney Jessica Ford is in the Secret Service's witness protection program after being the only survivor and witness to the murder of the First Lady. But she decides not to relocate and now after replacing a former associate that left on a high profile case that gets her attention someone is out to kill her.

With the help of her ex-boyfriend Secret Service agent Mark she begins investigating on who is trying to kill her and a former associate and why.

Romance:  I really liked how Jess and Mark had a romantic history between them and they thought the relationship was completely over.  You can really feel the attraction is still there and they really loved each other.

Killer:  The rapist is a very sick man and has been doing his thing for a long time and I'm really glad he got what was coming to him.  He had no remorse and didn't even blink an eye during his trial.

The killer was a professional and I would have never thought he would be one.  They used their good looks and was sure quite an actor to win her confidence.

“Highlight one book you have received this week (for review, from the library, purchased at the store, etc.) that you can’t wait to dig into!”

I can't wait to dig into "Eve" by Iris Johansen.   I've been hooked from the first book of the series and when I heard there was going to be a trilogy I knew I had to read them.  This book is how Eve met her first love John Gallo and the birth of Bonnie, etc.

Eve [Hardcover]

Product Description

The #1 bestselling author delivers the first in a trilogy that will begin to answer questions that have haunted her legion of fans for over a decade, in her newest novel of breathtaking suspense
Eve Duncan’s mission in life is to bring closure to the families who have experienced the agony of a missing child. As a forensic sculptor, she is able to piece together bones, create a face, and bring an identity to a child who would have otherwise gone unidentified … maybe forever. Eve is brilliant, and driven, and tormented -- because her own daughter, Bonnie, was taken from her years ago. And Eve has never discovered what happened to her. But now a name from the past resurfaces, thanks to CIA agent Catherine Ling who knows all too well what it’s like to lose a child. After teaming up with Agent Ling to find her missing son, Eve and Catherine share a bond forged by their mutual pain. Now, Catherine challenges Eve with a name: John Gallo. A man from Eve’s past. A man, seemingly raised from the dead, whose whereabouts are unknown. Could Gallo be the missing piece to the puzzle that has haunted Eve for years? Why was he in Atlanta just before Bonnie’s disappearance? With a brilliant narrative that goes back to Eve Duncan’s early life, exploring her history and motivations like no other novel before, Eve reveals long-guarded secrets and is guaranteed to leave Johansen fans panting for more — soon to come in Quinn (October 2011).

The Book Addicted Girl

Hi, my name's Megan, and I'm a self confessed Book Addict. I talk about books non-stop.  And although my family is bookish, I started to annoy even them with my constant chatter about what I was reading, my favourite characters,  etc.  I started blogging because I wanted to find fellow YA book readers.  And I did!
What makes me different is my insanity.  I read anything - and I mean anything.  I always have two or three books on my person in my ridiculously big bag.  My favourite kind of books are everything paranormal, though recently I've developed a love for contempory, dystopian and historical novels.  A few of my favourites are Vampire Academy, The Mortal Instruments, The Hunger Games, The Iron Fey series, If I Stay, Before I Die and Harry Potter.  I'm currently reading seven books, though I'm concentrating on Haunting Violet by Alyxandra Harvey and Tempest Rising by Tracy Deebs.  I can never seem to read just one book at a time...
The Little Book Blog

I'm 18, just graduated from high school and I LOVE reading! Reading is my escape from reality. I also love movies, music, and writing. I love any type of movies as long as their good. I also love any type of music but I prefer Indie Rock. I'm addicted to Pepsi and Coffee. I love sleep, so much that coffee has no effect on me anymore. In fact, coffee makes me sleepy. I'm very funny or at least I think so. My favorite books are The Hunger Games Trilogy, Twilight Saga, The Wolves of Mercy Falls Trilogy and a couple more.

The first reason I started blogging is because I wanted to keep track of what I've read and my opinions on it. I had a journal but it started to rip and I would lose it all the time. So, I thought a blog would be a better option. The second reason is that I want to share my opinion on books. I haven't found one other person who loves to read as much as I do. None of my friends or family members really understand why I love to read so much. I have no one to talk about books with, so I was hoping that with the blog I could put my opinion out there and get others opinions back as well."

Q. Let's step away from books for a second and get personal. What T-Shirt slogan best describes you?

I haven't found any T-Shirt slogans that best describes me, sorry!

Here's a couple I made up!

I love mysteries and thrillers!

I love romantic suspense!

Product Description

Appearances…

A sad, strange coincidence…that's Dr. Kacey Lambert's initial response to the deaths of two women who bear an uncanny resemblance to herself. Can Be…

One of the bodies contained traces of poison at the time of death. Selena and her partner, Detective Regan Pescoli, can find no motive for murder. But Kacey has started to notice ties between the dead women's lives and her own-all close in age, born within miles of each other. And all have links to Trace O'Halleran, the man Kacey just started dating.

Deadly…

The deeper Kacey digs, the more reason she has to fear. More look-alikes are dying, and the killer is getting bolder and more brutal. And Kacey knows it's only a matter of time before hers is the next name on a list of those who were born to die …

The Girl Who Disappeared Twice [Hardcover]

I've finished "The Girl Who Dissappeared Twice" by Andrea Kane.

Product Description
She couldn't stop it. Not then. Not now.

If she'd only turned her head, she would have seen the car containing her daughter, struggling to get out. Struggling to escape her kidnapper.

Despite all her years determining the fates of families, veteran family court judge Hope Willis couldn't save her own. Now she's frantically grasping at any hope for Krissy's rescue. Her husband dead – set against it, she calls Casey Woods and her team of renegade investigators, Forensic Instincts.

A behaviorist. A techno–wizard. An intuitive.A former Navy SEAL. Unconventional operatives. All with unique talents and personal reasons for being part of Casey's group, they'll do whatever it takes.
Able to accurately read people after the briefest of encounters, Casey leads her crew to Krissy's home.

There, she picks up the signs of a nervous spouse, a guilty conscience, a nanny that hides on her cell. She watches as secrets beg to creep into the open.

Forensic Instincts will dig through each tiny clue and eliminate the clutter. But time is running out, and even working around the clock, the authorities are bound by the legal system. Not so Casey's team. For they know that the difference between Krissy coming back alive and disappearing forever could be as small as a suspect's rapid breathing, or as deep as Hope's dark family history.

My Review:

Storyline: When family court judge Hope Willis receives a call asking if she picked up her daughter Krissy from school she panics. She and her husband Edward and their nanny Ashley cannot locate her anywhere. It brings back many bad memories for Hope as her twin sister was kidnapped when they were six and Felicity was never found.

The first twenty-four hours are critical in kidnapping cases and Hope is wasting no time calling in the big shots. As usual the local police and the FBI are called in but she also immediately hires Forensic Instincts a private firm of investigators with a high success rate. Casey Woods is the owner and a renowned behaviorist. Rounding out her team is Marc, a former Navy Seal and Ryan the techno-geek and she really wants to hire Claire, a clairvoyant.

The team just closed a high profile case and they are all tired, but immediately get to work on Krissy's abduction. The Forensic team can bend the rules a bit to gather leads and other information that the agencies  can't. Casey's boyfriend Hutch brings her a gift of a bloodhound, Hero, which is a an awesome addition to the team.

The investigation veers into different directions as the Willis family's secrets are delved which leads into mob connections. Patrick the original FBI agent who led the team for Felicity's abduction thirty years ago, appears convinced the two kidnappings are related. He tries frantically to find that link. But as they all keep digging into different directions that may or may not be connected the ticking clock on finding Krissy diminishes.

Characters:  Casey Woods holds a master's in Forensic Psychology and she has extensive credentials working with both behavioral and psycholgical profilers, has an innate talent at reading people and her years of working in both law enforcement and the private sector.

Marc Deveraux is Special Ops to the core.  He's a former FBI, Behavioral Analysis Unit and Navy Seal.  He has a diverse heritage:  Asian grandparents on his mother's side, and an exensive french lineage on his father's side.  He speaks three languages fluently Mandarin, French and Spanish.  He is Casey's heavily credentialed recruit.  He's the sexy and brooding type - single and happy to stay that way.

Ryan McKay is a technical genius and also a gym rat, who works out two hours each morning and who's athletic prowess included being mountain biking pro and running ultramarathons.  He recently earned his skydiving certification.

He has six-pack abs and is tall and broad shouldered and boasts those smoldering Black Irish looks that make women drool. He hates the gushing and the lavish - taking givers which really irks him.  The women he dates are strong, independent and unimpressed with his physical attributes and accomplishments.

Claire Hedgleigh aka Claire-voyant as Ryan calls her is a noted self-described intuitive who consults with several of the police departments using her special skills to solve cases.  She holds a masters's degree in Human Development and another in Transformative Theory and Practices.  She also has teaching accrediations from schools in the US, England and Austrailia in everything from psychic development to metaphysical sciences.  She is tall and willowy with pale blond hair and light gray eyes.  She has a gentle ethereal quality that suited her profession.

SSA Kyle Hutchinson has a natural compelling quality that screams leadership.  From his build, to his confident manner and the scar on his left cheek from his days being a beat cop screamed someone important.  He's also Casey's boyfriend and lover.

Special Agent Patrick Lynch is a square-jawed man of sixty with a solid build and salt-and pepper hair.  He was the special agent in charge of Hope's twin sister Felicity kidnapping case.  This case has been haunting him for thirty years.

Hero is a 3 yr. old red bloodhound who has worked with the FBI as a working scenting dog.  He is smart, fiercely loyal and has a keen sense of smell.

Romance:  I really enjoyed the romance between Casey and Hutch because they are both smart and understand one another.  They work well together on cases and their love scenes are very hot and steamy.

I believe in future books there will be a romance between Ryan and Claire since you can sense something between them in this book.  Can't wait!

Killer:  Actually this isn't really a killer in this book only a kidnapper and some mob people.  The kidnapper treated Krissy just like their own daughter and wanted to make her very happy and comfortable.

We Fancy Books

We Fancy Books

Our blog is a group blog so we have different answers...

Something about us and why we started blogging...

TheJay2xA : Our blog is We Fancy Books; we named it like this because we really love to read books. Our blog is mainly for the three of us. We post MeMes and reviews of what we have just read. What made you start a book blog? Together with my two friends we made We Fancy Books

AddictedToV: I got really into books this year, and now reading has been part of my daily routine. At first I started in Goodreads and was exposed more in books, then I started to write my own reviews too. I also made my own blog eventually, but it was when my friend (in real life) TheJay2xA asked me to collaborate with him for a book blog, and I liked the idea, so here we are now (:

Ere Penera: I was reading too much books the past few days and I can’t help but tweet about how exciting those books were. And then my tweet buddy, Jayjay, asked me to join him in a book blog. And so I said okay even if I didn’t know exactly what’s to be done or written in it. He just told me I’d submit book reviews which was fine with me. But it turned out there are actually lots of other activities in a book blog so I’m starting to learn stuffs about it.

Books we read and favorite genre

TheJay2xA: I personally like Young Adult and Contemporary books, mystery thriller, paranormal romance and dystopian is also some of favorite genre.

AddictedToV: Young adult, science fiction, mystery, romance, dystopian, etc. As long as it’s exciting, entertaining and won’t give me much headache understanding complicated matters, I’m into it.

Era Penera: I really like young-adult fantasy. If it’s full of action or if there are mysteries then it’d be so much better.

The Bloggers of: A Novella's Tale

Lauren is my name :) I started blogging because I needed a way to somehow drain all my book wormish-ness. Here are three things about me: 1) I have a weird obsession with cute babies. No. Actually, all babies. Except for ones that smell too much... 2) On average it take me 5 days to finish reading a book. 3) I talk extremely too much and my friends say that is my signature personality (is talking even a personality??). My favourite books are Before I Fall, The Hunger Games, Uglies and Wintergirls. Currently I am reading Forgotten by Cat Patrick.

Q. Name 3 authors that you would love to sit down and spend an hour or a meal with just talking about either their books or get advice on writing from?

I would love to have dinner with Iris Johansen and ask her all about her Eve series. Would ask her will we finally find out who killed Bonnie and where her body is buried?

I would also love to have dinner with Kay Hooper and ask her all about her Bishop series.

The last author I would love to have dinner with is John Sandford and ask him about his Lucas Davenport and Virgil Flowers series.

Quinn [Hardcover]

I've finished "Quinn the 2nd in a trilogy by Iris Johansen.

Product Description

#1 New York Times bestselling author Iris Johansen explores the darkest corners of the human heart as forensic sculptor Eve Duncan closes in on the killer who stole her daughter so many years ago.

As a former Navy SEAL turned cop, Joe Quinn has seen the face of evil and knows just how deadly it can be. When he first met Eve Duncan, he never expected to fall in love with a woman whose life would be defined by her dual desires to bring home her missing daughter and discover the truth behind her disappearance --- no matter how devastating. With the help of CIA agent Catherine Ling, they make a shocking discovery that sheds new light on young Bonnie’s abduction and puts Quinn squarely in the crosshairs of danger. Eve’s first love, John Gallo, a soldier supposedly killed in the line of duty, is very much alive --- and very much a threat.

Emotionally charged, with one shock after another, Quinn reveals the electricity of Joe and Eve’s first connection, and how they fell in love in the midst of haunting tragedy. As their search takes them deeper and deeper into a web of murder and madness, Joe and Eve must confront their most primal fears . . . and test their resolve to uncover the ultimate bone-chilling truth.

My Review:

Storyline:  Forensic sculptor Eve Duncan stays with her lover FBI Agent Joe Quinn as he struggles to survive stab wounds in the intensive care unit of the hospital following a confrontation with killer Paul Black. As Eve holds Joe's hands she reflects back to when they first met years ago on a child killer case in which her seven years old daughter Bonnie was abducted and assumed dead by everyone except her. Her obsession in bringing Bonnie home dead or alive she risked her life then and has many times since.

Eve's adoptive child Jane flies in from London and Catherine Ling meets her at the Milwaukee Airport where she explains how her search for her son began the events that have Joe in ICU. Black has insisted that Bonnie's biological dad John Gallo has killed her which Gallo never denied as he is unsure though he wants to believe he would not harm his child. Gallo remains free seeking proof in the Bayou that he did not murder Bonnie while Catherine Ling pursues him.

Characters:  Eve was more mature and acted older than her age when she lost Bonnie.  I loved that she has given up hope that she will find Bonnie's remains someday and is willing to risk her life to find out the truth who killed her.

I loved how Joe was very surprised to be attracted to Eve when he first met her and how he wanted to hide and protect her.  He really wanted to find Bonnie to ease her pain and she isn't even his type.

Romance: I really enjoy the romance between Joe and Eve and how their love evolved when they first met to now.

I'm really enjoying the Catherine and John Gallo scenes and their growing attraction to each other.  They make a formable team and a deadly duo to come across.  They are both loners and understand what each are going through.  Their scenes together were really steamy and hot!  Oh I can't wait until they finally admit they need each other.

Killer: We never learn who the killer is but we do find out he is cunning and a deadly adversary.  His kills are very brutal and meant to hurt.

5/5

Born To Die [Paperback]

Product Description

Appearances…

A sad, strange coincidence…that's Dr. Kacey Lambert's initial response to the deaths of two women who bear an uncanny resemblance to herself. It's not like there was any real connection between Kacey and the B-movie actress or the elementary school teacher. But Detective Selena Alvarez suspects otherwise.

Alex Cross's TRIAL [Mass Market Paperback]

I've finished "Alex Cross's Trial" by James Patterson and Richard DiLallo.

Product Description

Separated by time

From his grandmother, Alex Cross has heard the story of his great uncle Abraham and his struggles for survival in the era of the Ku Klux Klan. Now, Alex passes the family tale along to his own children in a novel he's written -- a novel called Trial.

Connected by blood

As a lawyer in turn-of-the-century Washington D.C., Ben Corbett represents the toughest cases. Fighting against oppression and racism, he risks his family and his life in the process. When President Roosevelt asks Ben to return to his home town to investigate rumors of the resurgence of the Ku Klux Klan there, he cannot refuse.

United by bravery

When he arrives in Eudora, Mississippi, Ben meets the wise Abraham Cross and his beautiful granddaughter, Moody. Ben enlists their help, and the two Crosses introduce him to the hidden side of the idyllic Southern town. Lynchings have become commonplace and residents of the town's black quarter live in constant fear. Ben aims to break the reign of terror -- but the truth of who is really behind it could break his heart. Written in the fearless voice of Detective Alex Cross, Alex Cross's Trial is a gripping story of murder, love, and, above all, bravery.

My Review:

In 1906, race relations are being threatened and the war has just ended.  Equality is still a foreign concept -- especially in the south. Theodore Roosevelt (the President of the USA) has placed an urgent call to Ben Corbett a prestigious lawyer summoning him to The White House. The President instructs Corbett to seek the aid of Abraham Cross in his home town of Mississippi and together investigate the outbreak of burning and lynching of minorities.

When he finally arrives it doesn't take him long to find Cross who is being escorted by a beautiful young woman, Moody. Moody is Cross' grand daughter and together they show Corbett the true extent of the hate - filled assaults in a once peaceful town. While it does take Corbett a while to accept the truth, he does finally come to realize just how dangerous the situation is.

This book had lots of twists and turns especially dealing with Abraham Cross.  I thought the racial overtones were well written but they could be quite graphic though.

Justice (Jessica Ford) [Hardcover]

As Jess hurtles closer to the truth — and the sexual tension between her and Mark grows hotter than ever —she finds herself in a race against the clock to find the answers before what she doesn’t know gets them both killed.

My Review:

Storyline: Wade Rocha is part of an elite team of Pararescueman who jump in the middle of death defying missions to save people from harsh conditions.  His latest assignment is to rescue a group of climbers in the frigid Aleutian Islands.  They spot a straggler so Wade parachutes down and his mission is to help her survive the frigid cold weather until his team can rescue both of them.  He finds a big surprise when he finds out the woman he is to rescue doesn't want to be rescued and shows him a few tricks of her own.

Characters: I really enjoyed the banter between Wade and his fellow teammates because you can tell they have each other backs and they really are friends and care for each other.  Sunny is a loner and I'm glad that she can take care of herself and I loved the interaction between her and her dog Chewy.

Romance: I really enjoyed the romance between Wade and Sunny because they compliment each other and they made a great team.

Killer:  The killer was very sick, twisted and clever.  Very smart to get someone else to do your dirty work.

Our Feature  - Angela @ Angela's Anxious Life

Hello fellow bloggers!  My name is Angie, 32, from Colorado and I LOVE to read.  I just started blogging in the past few months and I love it.   I decided to start blogging because I really don't know a lot of people who read so I thought I would blog to find people with my interests. I got tired of talking to people about books who would then look at me with a blank stare!   At first I avoided blogging for a long time because I would go online and see all these wonderful blogs and think there was no way I could set up a web-page like the ones I was seeing.  Then one night I sat down and looked all over the internet till I figured out how to use blogger.  In fact, I received a lot of help from the blogging 101 posts right here at Parajunkee's View!  .  I recently acquired a Nook Color and am LOVING it.  I never thought I would like ebooks at all.  I swore that they weren't for me though I never gave them a chance.  Then I received the Nook for my birthday as a gift and have never looked back!

I read all different genres of books... but not a lot of non-fiction.  I will review YA, Paranormal, Mystery, Horror, Fantasy,  really anything that seems interesting. Aside from blogging I moderate two fabulous groups on goodreads.com.  One is the YA Book Club which has 3000 members now (http://www.goodreads.com/group/show/3551.YA_Book_Club) and the Stephen King Fans group which has 2000 members now (http://www.goodreads.com/group/show/203.Stephen_King_Fans).  I am quite proud of both groups since I have worked so hard on them from the beginning.  The groups have grown so much that I recently had to recruit a co-mod for each group to help out!  I have discovered so many books through these bookclubs!  Some of my favorite authors are Charlaine Harris, Stephen King, George RR Martin, RA Salvatore, Rick Riordan, Janet Evanovich, Cassandra Clare, and JK Rowling just to name a few.

What do I do when I are not reading?  Well....  I love to watch TV and Movies, and play video games. I have an Xbox 360, PS3, and a Wii.  I even have a hilarious blog for my Xbox 360 where the Xbox is blogging for me (http://360voice.gamerdna.com/tag/Estel0212) .  From time to time on my blog you will find reviews for movies, games and TV.  My husband and I head out to the movies every Friday in the summer... and YES we plan to spend two night at the theater waiting for Harry Potter.  I will definitely post some pictures from that adventure.  I also love to go out on the town... ballet, theater, broadway shows, concerts, I am just about up for anything new and exciting.  Plus I love my two kitties and my hubby!  Feel free to stop by my blog ... I try to keep it entertaining so prepare to have fun!

Q. What do I do when I are not reading?

I'm usually blogging or checking out blogs with the same interest as me.

Characters:  I didn't really like any of the characters!

Romance:  I didn't really like the romance between Laura and Harrison because I didn't feel like they connected and there wasn't any tension or heat.

Killer:  The killer was very psychotic and was very inventive in their killings, etc.  Very sneaky since no one saw them at all!

Split Second (An FBI Thriller) [Hardcover]

Justice (Jessica Ford) [Hardcover]

The investigation leads her to some startling coincidences—and to a teenage runaway who may just hold the missing link . . . if Jess can find her.

As Jess hurtles closer to the truth — and the sexual tension between her and Mark grows hotter than ever — she finds herself in a race against the clock to find the answers before what she doesn’t know gets them both killed.
