Hot Pursuit (Bounty Hunter 6) [Mass Market Paperback]

I've finished reading "Hot Pursuit" the 6th book in her Bounty Hunter series by Lorie O'Clare.

Product Description

Ben Mercy is a man with a past. Trying to start a new life with the KFA — an elite team of professional manhunters — he hopes to prove himself by capturing the most wanted man in America. But Ben isn’t the only bounty hunter on the case. And the trail takes a deadly new turn when he’s thrown by the curves — of a beautiful woman.

Zoey is the daughter of one of the most powerful men in California. A helpless pawn in her father’s plan to merge two casinos through marriage, Zoey’s been warned to stay away from the lowlife bounty hunters who’ve come to town. But when Zoey meets Ben, the attraction is too intense to ignore. And the closer they get, the higher the risk. With millions at stake — and a murderer in hiding — falling in love could be the biggest gamble of all.

My Review:

The The Mulligan Stew Assassin is in hiding and everyone knows who he is but not where he is.  Ben Mercer is the newest employee of the King Fugitive Apprehension (aka KFA) and decides to find Micah and Maggie in Zounds a small town in Northern California by using a blank postcard sent by Micah.

Zounds is ruled by Emilio Cortez who owns the whole town and everything related to the town.  Zoey the daughter of Cortez is the first person that Ben meets and she shows him around.  Zoey and Ben are instantly attracted to each other but she is engaged to someone her father picked out for her.  Zoey spends her time at a bookstore run by Angelina Matisse a women who would do anything for Zoey.

Wolf Marley another bounty hunter is determined to bring in the Mulligan Stew Assassin and collect the one million dollar bounty.  Wolf hooks up with Angelina (aka Angel).

This book had non-stop action and hot, steamy and passionate romance.  Wolf sure had an insatiable sex drive.
